This is a dedicated space to support international care workers, living in the West Midlands working in the adult social care sector.
Launched in 2023, the Programme set out to tackle recruitment challenges and safeguard care workers from exploitation. In 2024-25, we’ve expanded our mission to focus on supporting international care workers affected by unethical practices or sponsorship revocations.
Here, we will signpost you to tailored resources and support as well as enhanced local support through our Small Grants Programme.

Support for Care Workers Affected by Sponsorship License Revocation
If you have been informed by UKVI that your employers sponsorship license has been revoked, and you need additional support finding re-employment, there are various local programmes that have been set up to help you.
Please visit www.revoked.support and enter some details. We will then direct you to the most appropriate support route for you.
Please note this service is only for individuals living within the West Midlands Region. If you are living in another area, please use the contact details stated on the letter you have received from UKVI.

Help finding a job?
SponsorSwitch is a new service to support Health and Care staff in the UK to find a new sponsored role.
They will aim to match you with an employer who can treat you the way you deserve to be treated and support you through the switching process. It is completely free.
West Midlands Legal & HR Support
If you feel you need specialist Legal or Human Resources advice, we can offer you a FREE 30-minute consultation with a legal or HR specialist.
Please note: This service cannot provide support for employment disputes or tribunals.
To access the Free Legal & Human Resources support, international care workers living in the West Midlands need to have first registered with regional mailbox www.revoked.support to get a WMIRP number and then request legal support via a short registration form.
This service will be provided by Legal and HR professionals who have extensive experience in international recruitment.
My UK Life: An online platform for international care workers in the UK
My UK Life is for international care workers, living in the UK. It has been designed to help transform their experience working and settling in the UK.
It provides CV tips and directs you to training and job opportunities. It is designed to connect you with local communities and the virtual coaches are here there to direct you to the support you need.

Staying Safe

If you are concerned about your safety, how you’re being treated, or suspect you may be experiencing exploitation or modern slavery – support is available.
We signpost you to information to support you and others to stay safe while you’re working in the West Midlands.
If you are being treated unfairly, it’s important to seek help as soon as possible.
