We’re delighted to see one of our local partners, Tulia Group CIC, receive national recognition, winning the Professional Services Firm Award at the UK-Zimbabwe Business Expo Awards 2025. This award celebrates Tulia’s commitment to professional excellence and the positive impact they’re making across communities.
Here in the West Midlands as part of the International Recruitment Programme, Tulia is working alongside Coventry City Council and Warwickshire County Council to support international care workers through legal advice, drop-in centres, and tailored guidance that helps international care workers. Their expertise and community-based approach ensures that international care works have a space to share their concerns and feel both informed and supported.
Simon Veasey, International Recruitment Lead at Coventry City Council says,
“It’s fantastic to see Tulia recognised on a national stage. They’re a trusted partner, led by people who international care workers can relate to and feel confident turning to for support. Their understanding of culture and lived experience makes a real difference — and because they operate independently of the local authority, they’re able to build genuine trust and connection within the communities they serve.”
This recognition highlights the value of strong local partnerships across the West Midlands – bringing together community organisations, councils, and support networks to ensure international recruits are welcomed and empowered to contribute to our region’s care sector.
