Thinking about returning to your home country? This service is for people living in the UK who no longer have legal status or the right to remain.

What is the Voluntary Returns Service?

We value the contribution that international care workers make in the West Midlands and hope you’ve found support through the West Midlands International Recruitment Programme.

However, we recognise that some people may wish to return home. If your situation in the UK has changed and you no longer have permission to remain, the Government’s Voluntary Returns Service may be able to help.

If you are eligible, the Voluntary Returns Service can provide financial and practical support to make your journey home safe and manageable, and to help you restart your life in your home country. In some countries, reintegration support is also available, including job counselling, apprenticeships, and retraining opportunities.
